BREEDING

The breeding of dogs can be very rewarding.  The decision to breed dogs is one which should be made out of love for the breed and the satisfaction of placing that pet in a good home.  Proper breeding can give the opportunity to make good money.

The Quality and the Health of the dog is more important than saving pennies.  Poor breeders can be penny wise and pound foolish. Poor breeders will shortcut health care and shorten weaning time.  Early weaning can be a detriment to the good health and psychology of the dog.

At ISDOG.COM we hope you will become a responsible breeder and place your dogs in good family homes.

This site will help the prospective breeder produce the highest quality pet along with the highest payback.

CAN DOGS USE HUMAN MEDICINE?

Aspirin belongs to a group of pain killers known as Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. Asprin as we all know is used mostly for aches, pains, and reducing fevers. This medication is also used to thin the blood, which is great for heart patients. Dogs cannoty tolerate asprin like humans can.  Giving your dog too much asprin can cause internal bleeding or ulcers in your pet.  However, it can be used in very small quantities like 75mg baby asprin for the relief of pet arthritis.

I have found that Duralactin, which is a natural remedy, is an awesome pain reliever.

You should NEVER give Ibuprofen or Acetominophen to your dog.  These medications can cause kidney or liver damage in your pet.

Childrens strength Pepto or Kaopectate can be used for canine diarrhea.

Benedryl is okay for dogs suffering from itchy bee stings, rashes or allergies.

You should always consult the family vet first when using any home remedy.
